No. Staking is non-custodial: your TRX and keys stay in your wallet. You only grant permissions to use the energy, vote and restake rewards.
Is 17.7% guaranteed?
No, the rate is variable. Today it is 13% for energy, 3.2% for voting and 1.5% from daily compounding.
How often do I get paid?
Every day. Each payout is restaked automatically, which is where the extra 1.5% comes from.
How do I stop?
Remove the permissions in your wallet at any time. Since rewards are paid daily, the most you can miss is the reward for the unfinished day.
Do I need to vote myself?
No. Voting happens automatically with the permission you grant.
